Clever replacement methods and troubleshooting methods for inductors
Oct 09, 2023
I believe many inductance manufacturers are unaware of the clever replacement methods and fault points of inductors. Below is an introduction for everyone!
After the inductor is damaged, in principle, it should be replaced with an inductor with the same performance type, main parameters, and external dimensions. However, if the same type of inductor cannot be found, it can also be replaced with another type of inductor.
When replacing an inductor, the first consideration should be its performance parameters (such as inductance, rated current, quality factor, etc.) and overall dimensions to meet the requirements. The replacement methods for several commonly used inductors are as follows:
1. Small fixed inductors and color code inductors can be directly replaced with color ring inductors as long as the inductance and rated electrical quality are similar to the appearance scale.
2. Although the oscillation line diagram in semiconductor radios has different models, as long as its inductance, quality factor, and frequency range are the same, they can also be replaced with each other. For example, the oscillation line diagram 1F-1-1 can be directly replaced with lTF-3.
3. The line oscillation coil in the TV should be selected from products of the same model and specification as much as possible, otherwise it will affect the working state of the circuit.
4. Deflection coils are generally used in conjunction with picture tubes and line and field scanning circuits, but as long as their specifications and performance parameters are similar, they can be replaced with each other even if the models are different.
